![]() ![]() Mid-2021 GPU Rendering Performance: Arnold, Blender, KeyShot, LuxCoreRender, Octane, Radeon ProRender, Redshift & V-Ray by Rob Williams on Jin Graphics & Displays It’s been six months since we’ve last taken an in-depth look at GPU rendering performance, and with NVIDIA having just released two new GPUs, …OctaneBench 2020.1. Next I ran the test on a 13.3" intel MBP, and it scored 45,000. I tried a different MBA and got the same score. I ran the Octane 2.0 test in Safari and only got a score of around 26,000. ![]() The scores are linear so that an OB200 (OctaneBench 200) rated GPU is about twice as fast as one with a score of 100, … 1v1 wtf It’s called Octanebench, and it’s pretty much the gold standard for GPU processing power comparisons. Otoy has created an excellent benchmark system to do this very thing. As you can see, enabling RTX capabilities doesn’t just enhance performance, it brings it to a new level. The original OctaneBench uses the regular CUDA processors to render their image, while the RTX version released last year engages the hardware’s RT cores.
